2008 teacher wish lists

|

Here are some Parkwood classroom wish lists. If you’d like to donate any of the items listed, please drop it by the office or deliver it directly to the teacher or staff member.

Nurse Linda Condit

A temporal thermometer for those kids who have difficulty with things under their tongues and in their ears. The newer technology allows for a quick sweep over the forehead even for those who cannot / will not hold still. They run $75 +.

Ms. Tricia Parks, 2nd grade

Heavy duty electric pencil sharpener!

Suzanne DeJong, music teacher

I need about 15 pairs of old socks (no holes if possible!) to use as erasers for white board markers when kids practice writing on laminated music staves. Thicker socks are probably better.

Chris Lirhus, 4th grade teacher

I would love to have a paper cutter that actually cuts paper properly and doesn’t have dull cutter.

Jan Pembrooke, 5th grade teacher

  • Black flair pens for art activities.
  • Sharpie pens for art activities.

Kristin Barouri, 3rd grade teacher

  • If our class could get a new pencil sharpener (electric) that would be great!
  • Any scrap booking paper would be super.
  • Good, large erasers.
