It is hard to believe we are back at school already. I hope everyone had a wonderful summer and are excited to be back at Parkwood. I know I am.
Parkwood is a very special place and the members of the Parkwood PTA continue to work to strengthen our community, your community. Our vision is of a school community where all parents feel welcomed, connected and supported. We know that when parents are involved, our children benefit.
There are many different ways parents can get connected with each other and be involved. The PTA feels very strongly about cultivating and growing the community at Parkwood and does so through organizing different school events and supporting various programs such as the Back to School BBQ, Tea & Tissues, School Dance, Monday Morning Mingler, Meet & Greet at Curriculum Night, Holiday Food Drive, Heritage Night, Silent Auction, Talent Show, Parents & Pastries and more.
These events happen due to the dedication of our community members. Thank you to all who have contributed their time and energy in the past and for all those who will contribute in the future. We look forward to seeing new faces that bring fresh ideas and energy to the PTA and the Parkwood Community.
